It's a great rig! It's suprisingly rigid once fully assembled. It handles my 21nm Simagic Alpha EVO Max & load cell pedals without issue. I would definitely recommend this rig to anyone without the floor space required for an aluminum profile rig.
Seat frame is amazing and solid! It’s a bit narrow for my wheel stand and my seat but that’s more of an error on my part trying to Frankenstein things with an off brand wheel stand.
Sturdy, budget friendly rig that you can build in steps. Had a bit of trouble mounting the actual car seat onto it, but it all worked out in the end! 💪🏻 Also it’s not rig’s fault that it was difficult to get the seat mounted, as it’s VW it has it’s tracks riveted to the actual seat. But yeah it worked out, I’m a large dude around 265lbs, 6’1, nothing creaks, cracks or anything like that. Rig is spacious enough my legs fit just fine, in the image it looks a bit short but that’s because that’s all the space I’ve got at the moment 🙃🤷🏻♂️

It almost looks MADE for the space you have.
Glad you could find something that fits your needs and gets you behind the wheel.

Added the rear frame with a race seat my brother won in a contest off Instagram. Was sitting on a kitchen table chair before and I could feel it at the end of 30 minute races. Now with the frame and the race seat I'm much more comfortable. Setup was easy. The bag with all the screws and nuts was ripped open but luckily everything seemed to be there with extras. Would recommend for anyone with the wheel stand that wants to upgrade to any full frame quickly.

The Rear frame is the reason I bought the DD-X Wheel stand and XL RS Seat as the Rear frame turns it into a solid Rig for my Fanatec GT DD Pro. I Highly recommend the whole Rig.

Good quality for the price. The customer service is great. Had a little issue with shipping to the states and they got it handled within the hour for me. No issues and would highly recommend.
The frame for the DDX wheel stand is solid and easy to put together. All parts were wrapped and protected nicely, with no missing parts.
It's a little over priced for what it actually is, but what you're paying for is to convert the DDX wheel stand, which is very solid in its own right, into a solid cockpit.
It's a no brainer if you have the DDX wheel stand and are considering an upgrade to a cockpit.

Glad you like the new frame! Thanks for the solid review! Safe racing 😎🏎️

It's not as sturdy as its corresponding wheelstand. After a few "extreme" races, it started to loosen and I had to tighten it up. But it's not bad for normal use. But the frustrating part is that it seems there is no accessories for mounting handbrake and shifter.
Store owner replied:
Hi,
Thanks for the review.
We do have a GEAR SHIFTER MOUNT, which would mount to the DD-X. I hope this helps.
If you need a hand with anything else, please do get in touch.

I've used the DDX wheel stand for six months but now I've purchased an Asetek bundle and wanted more of a full rig. The addition of the frame and the seat have transformed the experience along with the upgrade of wheelbase and pedals. Handles 16Nm with no discernable flex or movement. Great product. The only criticism I have is the pedal tray should have greater adjustability, being able to pitch it in both directions to suit particular setups and products. The Asetek pedals are very upright so I had to modify the angle using spare parts to have the pedals tilt forward rather than back. Other than that, no issues.
Had the wheel stand and used it with a desk chair but wanted to have something a bit more consistent. The adding the back section to make it a full rig and adding a bucket seat really helped. Great build quality and easy to add tot he wheel stand.
