I like the modular approach to building a race simulator; now, waiting on racing seats to become available from GTOmega...
Glad the apex set comes in a way where I can build and buy at my own pace. Just waiting for a sim racing seat to be in stock!
Works perfectly, especially when coupled with a miata seat! Rubber foot pads make it much quieter for the downstairs neighbors. Next step is a shifter mout
Only required a better seat mount and GT omega was the only company that offered just a seat mount..
Easy to setup very sturdy and turns your apex stand into a nice looking rig
Loved the product
Absolutely love this stand, rear frame, and monitor stand. I started with just the stand, and was excited to see that I could upgrade it as my setup changed. I currently have a DD1 and V3's with the brake upgrade. This thing is really sturdy, the only movement I have on this is from the makeshift wood mount I had to use for the OpenWheeler brand chair. Eventually I will upgrade the seat. There is only slight movement in the pedal plate when pushing the brake 100%. The rearseat frame is adjustable, helps bring everything into a really solid rig without having to buy a completely different rig as I grow in the hobby.
Seems sturdy. Build was a dreadful experience but once it's done, it's all good !
i like the wheel stand alot, it is very sturdy and i like the adjustability. i also like the seat just wish i would have gotten the xl-rs the rs 9 is just a little narrow for me. But overall very happy. Just ordered another apex wheel stand for my son. could i please get a couple of gt omega racingstickers for my apex seat frame it did not come with any i dont know if it is supposed to or not. if not please let me know how i can get some.... Thank you..
Great mount! Paired it with the XL RS Seat and the GT omega Apex and it is sturdy as a rock. Works great and no complaints from me!
I have my rig for one month now, and it allows me to play for hours and perfectly in the most comfortable away and with everything in place. I'm very happy with the experience so far. Just need to get better at driving now
Stabile e robusto.
My first foray with GT Omega was stumbling across their stall at The London classic car show in 2019. Special event price, I was swayed into purchasing the GTomega APex wheel stand. The aim here was to slowly build a rig with out making the full commitment if I wanted to seriously get into sim racing again. The last year, with both AC and now ACC has got my sim racing bug truly bitten and with that , time to dive deeper. Whats so great about the APEX series is you can add to it as and when. So , recently that's exactly what I've done! First the GT Apex seat stand with RS9 seat ( COMFY and snug) and then finally the single wide screen stand. The whole piece of kit throughout is superb quality and all fittings as you want them. Firm , clear and adjustable. Best value price too! So whats next? CSl elite wheel and pedals to add to the GT Omega range.
Would be 5/5 if there was instructions included. Would have saved me 5 minutes :)
With this I now finally have a full rig that is extremely stable and sturdy. This has close to zero flex on most of the frame, except for the pedal plate from the Apex wheelstand (but that's more of a negative thing on the wheelstand). All this for a fairly reasonable price imo. This whole rig, that is wheelstand + rear seat attachment + seat cost me about 400 euros, which is extremely competitive. It's probably the best bang for buck out there, especially considering you could still convert it into a wheelstand only if needed. Highly recommended!
Brilliant product. Great service. Happy gamer

Great sturdy product I can rely on for years to come! Things to improve would be: - Wait for paint to dry before packaging (I got bubble wrap marks on the side plate). - Add some type of washer at the end of the tube where it meets the side plates to reduce flex.
The Apex stand is phenomenal, very sturdy and you can see it's made with quality materials. I did a lot of searching and could not find better value. I got the rear frame too, and now I can't wait for the RS9 seats to be back in stock to complete my setup.
I bought the Apex wheel stand a few months ago when I replaced my aging Logitech G25 with a Fanatec CSL Elite. Didn't have the room at the time for a full-on cockpit, so settled on a decent, heavyweight stand. Changed the room around a bit and developed some more space and was gutted that I'd picked the Apex stand over the Classic as I didn't think there was an extension for this (but the Apex stand looked more solid than the Classic). Then I saw there was a rear frame for the Apex stand and immediately went this route and coupled this with the RS9 seat as I wanted a little more room to sit in. The whole lot is much better than my Aeron chair backed up against a desk that I was using beforehand! Some really great products at very reasonable prices from GT Omega =)
Great addition to the Apex wheel stand. As sturdy as the stand itself. Only complaint is the lack of building instructions. There is a pdf on the website though, so all good.
Great upgrade path for the apex allows you to go from stand to cockpit in a flash!
Rear frame goes well with the wheel stand if you are looking to upgrade to a cockpit. It would be amazing if you could adjust the height to improve seat settings based on height of the person.
No instructions but it was not hard to put together once I found out the two extra parts which is the add-ons for later but it was easy to put together and I love it just like I said before about the seat and I love the Apex frame to you thank you get me some more stuff to buy!
Awesome product. The frame is sturdy and the quality is great. Easy to assemble, although it came without instructions. Overall very happy with the product and would defiantly recommend.
Great extension to the apex frame. No instructions in box but soon sorted it with a bit of thinking.
It's very good. And good quality.
Bought this after seeing an ad feels and looks sturdy looks very good as well the only complaint I have is it never came with instructions, but other then that it’s an awesome product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a similar set up
Probably the best purchase during lockdown. And it somehow made it to California from Glasgow which is awesome. The Apex Stand bolts right up to the Rear Seat Bracket. I used a spare Evo9 seat I had so I had to make an extension to be able to bolt all 4 points to the rail. Also it arrived without instructions but can be found online (via Google which leads back to GT Omega dunno why it can't be found easily on the main page) link here: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0051/5886/2936/files/APEX_REAR_SEAT_FRAME-min.pdf?14553
Iam slowly building the gt omega need seat and shifter mount and tv mount
The frame is really sturdy, and easy to assemble. It does cause the folding of the wheel frame to become impossible without some level of dis-assembly, this was one of the main functions I wanted from the original wheel frame, and was hoping to keep. There is flex between the wheel frame and the seat when pressing the brake hard (although this might be fixable with the extra parts included - and I’ve only noticed the flex during testing rather than in use), and seat adjustability is all with bolts, there could be an easy slider to help with this for different sized people. Other than these points it’s a great frame, that’s very sturdy, with a huge amount of adjustability.
Fantastic product! Quick delivery, very friendly and helpful people at GT Omega. The frame was easy to assembly expect of fitting in and assembly of the RS seat. I would also change the fixed robber pads to spherical joint pads. When it comes to pads itself, it is impossible to slide the frame anywhere once they are attached and the cockpit stays when you want it to stay. The frame is well designed and you can spend your racing time very comfortably. There are plenty of adjustment possibilities so you can find a proper setup for your needs. I am 190cm, 80kg and I feel very comfortable during my races. There is a slight flex in the middle of the frame when you press the pedal's support extremely hard but it won't flex during normal use. I can easily recommend this product to anyone who wants to upgrade her/his apex wheel stand.
This seat frame is amazing and very comfortable! if you’re on a budget this is a great setup!
Very happy with the Apex Rear Frame. It is a perfect add-on for the Apex Stand. Now I have a super Cockpit where I can put everything with large adjustement possibilities. I will now orderded the RS9 to leave my current seat going back on its wheels to be used as desktop chair.
I love all you products!amazing build quality with a good price!dont need more!full support for Gt Omega Racing

Treated myself to the Apex wheel mount and seat mount set. Awesome quality, really sturdy even with the force feedback on strong and those hairy cross arm moments. There were no destructions for the seat mount and it was different to the pictured item but not too difficult to work out. Does not fit Cobra seats but you drill some new holes and make them fit. Overall well happy!
My Apex extension arrived at the same time as the RS9 sim seat. Unfortunately there were no directions as to how to put it together, but with the help of GT Omega racing and a few sim racers on reddit I sorted everything out, and put it together. I understand that this product was new and no assembly directions were produced at the time of purchase. Sorry guys, but don't do that again please. Assembly proceded and with a couple of hours I had the extension built out and the new RS9 seat mounted on the frame. Gotta say I love it and for a new sim racer it makes for a fantastic addition to my set up. No movement on the frame at all, so I nice stable platform while competing. Thanks to everyone at GT Omega and the guys on Reddit who helped me out with the build
The Apex wheel stand is very stable by itself. The rear seat frame was made with the same quality. It is large enough that I can fit comfortably, as I am 6'1" 280pds. I am also looking forward to addons in the future, as I did receive 2 extra bars that go under the seat frame. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a stable cockpit without breaking the bank.
For the price point, it's a great value that thing is solid and of course not having instructions allowed my imagination to run wild and make it better.
GT Omega products are great and solidly built. The only downside was that the rear seat frame did not come with instructions. But once I finally got the first two pieces together everything else made sense. I think it also comes with items for future pieces which is good I guess. Shipping was usually within a few day.
For the price, the Apex Wheelstand + rear seat frame is a solid option. There is some gentle flex under the seat frame that could probably be easily remedied with an extra bolt, so it's a little odd that it wasn't designed to be a little sturdier. That said, I replaced all the rubber feet with caster wheels, and managed to mostly wipe out any sagging. For the price I paid, I couldn't be happier with the performance of this setup. Performance in-game is much improved now that I can be 100% confident with my inputs during intense situations.
