I needed a stand that could fold away and would be solid. I looked at many, but none were as solid and stable as this one. It truly does everything that they advertise It does. It folds up easily and is out of site when I need it gone. I have even been known to fold it up, throw it in the car. Go to a friends house and play. It really is that easy to move around. Only 39.5 pounds with the wheel and pedals. If you need a stable, strong and foldable wheel stand. This is the one for you. Well worth every penny. The Instructions, I have to admit are complete rubbish, but it's mostly together and if you put the rest together just like it looks in the pictures it's not a problem. I personally never used or needed them, but did look at them afterwards to see what others were talking about. Get this stand if it meets your needs and you will not be disappointed.

I was looking for an adjustable stand for my honeycomb yoke and throttle and came across the GT Omega classic racing stand and it turned out to be the perfect fit for my needs. I can adjust the height and placement of each component and the stand is very sturdy. Can't recommend it enough!

As you see in the video I have the omega GT stand classic and it works fantastic, no flex, with the Fanatec DD pro and v3 pedals. Perfect for plug and play using your sofa as a seat.

Overall I like the wheel stand, only nitpick I have is how the g923 pedals are somehow not supported. But I figured that the g29 pedals are the same and followed that guide for mounting the pedals to the stand. 8.5/10 :)

Was using my desk but was a hastle setting up the peddles wheels and other stuff. It's nice to have everything attached on a fold a way stand. Fantastic build quality and fast free delivery. Would highly recomend the product.

I think it's a good tool to start with, especially on a low budget. I use it daily, and it's a blast, but I had to use a lot of time to adapt it (drill holes, higher table for the monitor, and stop for the chair). From the beginning I had in mind that it was for a t300 with shifter and handbrake, both on the same side (mount v1 and mount v2 togethers). However the mount v1 shifter bothers me a lot, it prevents me from sitting centered on the steering wheel. In the end I made two holes in mount v2 to be able to put the handbrake and the shifter together.
I'm using a Chinese shifter and handbrake, the handbrake I use at 45 degrees, and I could only use two holes (they don't match). In the case of the shifter the holes don't match either (I had to drill one more hole).
I must say that I can use it because the desk chair butts up against the bed. I don't regret buying it at all, but I have had to make one more hole. Good job, I wrote this in order to make the product better, but i love it.

I am very happy with the stand, and speed of delivery, even customs were not so big issue as I was firstly afraid. Wheel stand is easy assembled, very adjustable to my preferences. One detail i would appreciate, would be labeled screws in manual, or somewhere on web(i have not found it). I mean which screw is for what. But that is only small detail , i am still very happy.

Have to say, I've been in the market on and off but prices have always put me off. All the way back to the G25. I never bothered and it simply gathered dust.
Recently a good mate gave me his G29 and I wanted to not spend a lot of money. Ones up on such platforms as Amazon, promoting the "cheapest wheel stand", etc, etc. Only to be associated with the shipping cost being almost as much as the stand itself. It wasn't until a comment in a YouTube video called out the GT Omega Classic wheel stand when looking at another product. When I looked on the website and saw the price, I jumped on it.
Excellent value for money, sturdy enough for some decent fun, foldable. A little weighty, but it's solid construction. You can't go wrong. Love it!

Great stand! We bought it as a gift for our six year old son. As it turned out, this is the only stand among all competitors that is suitable for a six-year-old boy. We use it with the Thrustmaster t150 kit. Just perfect! The stand is very stable and heavy. Due to the weight, my son can't move it on his own yet, but I think this is a temporary problem :)

I love he build quality of the Classic and very happy with the product but am thoroughly disappointed with the complete and utter failure by the Australian distributor to ship to Western Australia. I discussed in numerous emails back to the main company, who stated the distributor stated that they didnt have "the rights" to WA... what a load of ..... This led me to have to arrange for the package to be freight forwarded at a cost of $80... I can only assume that the Australian distributor is more interested in the advertisement of "Free Shipping" than actually servicing customers and selling products. I doubt anyone would argue with a minimal additional cost of shipping to purchase the GTOmega range.

Well worth the money. I was eying for Next Level Racing cockpit and at the last minute decided to go with this. Blown away with the build quality with this price point. Easy assembly & done setup within 15min. Highly recommended if you starting sim racing. Basically look no further, you won't be dissapointed.

Found through a search for "Steering wheel stand" on amazon, searched google, and found it was significantly cheaper to buy directly, so bought directly.
Arrived quickly, was easy to assemble and is a lot sturdier than I expected it to be. The lip on the steering wheel mount section is slightly too large for the Logitech G920 clips to fit over and grip the platform, but it's secured with 2 screws, so it's not a huge problem.
Overall, a really nice design and well produced stand.

I always thought having a wheel/pedal set up would take to much space to store. I was wrong! The omega stand is amazing performs well not moving around when driving and folds up compact enough to store wheel, stand and pedals all in a corner with cables tied up with provided straps. Would recommend to anyone on the fence about a wheel setup because of space. I can also install a race seat to it later to make it a cockpit if I want which is nice.

The wheel stand is built though and is firm, the plate that holds the shifter is 1/4 inches tick . Would attach this wheel stand Fanatec or any other brand wheel wich the holes are pre drilled to the mounting point of youer wheel manufacturer . Very versatile I'm loving it so far .

The stand itself is very sturdy and works very well for the intended purpose. Finding the proper fit for the pedal comfort versus steering wheel position. That isn't a knock against the stand itself, just something I am struggling with. I suppose I wish the angles it adjusts too were a little more flexible.

Very happy with the product. On the Australian web site it was showing the older model. However the newer model arrived same as the one on the US website. The stand is rigid enough for normal gameplay, provided you do not extend the arms too high or forward. I use an old ikea recliner and the position is perfect.

This wheelstand is more stable and stiff than I've seen in many youtube reviews. There were people who had a wobble side to side, and I was concerned that it's too much for my needs. What happend? The base comes mounted already, but not all of the screws are well tightened. After you've found the adjustment that fits your needs (angle and height) you have to especially tighten the lower screws of the arms and everything else that give stability. Of course a good ground and the adjustment of the gum foots will help as well.
As seen in the picture I'm playing in the living room on a sofa in front of a big TV, so the stand doesn't have to be very high. Maybe side to side movement is a bit more, when you put the arms much higher, but I don't have no issues with it.
Quality is top notch, and the wheel stand brings all the necessary screws to mount wheel and pedals!
I ordered from Germany but I didn't have to pay import taxes, seems GTOmega already included that in the price - very good!

Just got it and love, I can now use my wheel at its full potential. It’s compact, well built and seems really robust. The setup guide could be improved though with more complete descriptions and more installation steps. There are still some parts in the box I have no idea what they are for!

CLASSIC Steering Wheel Stand
For some time this support has not been sold on Amazon Spain (I don't know why), so I decided to buy it on this website, the price is correct and the shipping was free, the package arrived in about 6 days, everything was correct, I had fear of paying customs procedures, finally I did not have to pay anything extra, in case of doubt, contact and ask on the Website.
Regarding the 'CLASSIC Steering Wheel Stand', I am happy, it has enough weight to support stability (in my case Logitech G923), everything can be adjusted easily and the black color of the paint looks quality, it has everything what is needed to mount the most popular steering wheels, although it is not perfect, in my case I am around 182cm, I had to adjust the pedal tray several times to find comfort, finally instead of using 4 screws, I could only use 2 screws , to move the pedals as far as possible, this is not a problem, it is safe and stable, but people who are much taller than me, keep this in mind. Another aspect to take into account is the inclination, it should have more positions for a more precise angle, this aspect is not bad, but it can be improved. The rest of the aspects are nothing to object to, it is appreciated to position the gear change on the left or right side, and the extra support to keep it closer or place a handbrake. Also the possibility of adding more compatible accessories (CLASSIC Rear Seat Frame...) is appreciated. It is a good set, in order not to spend too much money and not take up too much space, I recommend it!

For the money I had low expectations despite the good reviews. Honestly rock solid. I bought it so my kids can play GT7.. well so I tell the wife.. Minimal wobble if any, i have seen videos where people are wobbling it with 1 finger and I have no idea how as mine doesnt move, perhaps they dont tighten properly. Easy to put together, great options on gearstick mount and can fold away ok though not ideal in that respect. End of the day its awesome and with respect to price its amazing..

I bought a *cheapie* not sure if I was going to get into sim racing seriously or not, and figured if I did I'd buy something a bit better down the road if I did. Well, I'm into it pretty hard now and can't see much of a need for an upgrade. This thing is solid, comfortable and works well. Very good product at a fantastic price.

Recently bought a Thrustmaster T-GT2 for Gran Turismo and the GT Omega classic stand. The stand was really easy to set up and it works great. It moves a little bit when the wheel is really cranking, but other than that it's awesome! Easy to fold and put away and the price was right for someone with their first decent wheel. Highly recommended it.

Great stand that works fine with a T248 , much better than clamping it to a desk.. easy to set up. Only have one small problem with it is that I have laminate flooring and it tends to slide a little when being used .

I was expecting several days for delivery but received next day, which made me very happy. The wheel stand itself is a very sturdy piece of kit, I had wanted one for quite sometime and am definitely not disappointed with it. I have yet to give it some good hours but in my brief playtime so far I know I made the right choice with this product.
Overall I am very happy with both the service and the product, my one slight gripe, is the locking pins, I thought they might be 'quick release'.
I kind of understand why they are not, but it would have made the product nigh on perfect. The difference is being able to set it up from storage within a minute or so, as opposed to potentially about 30 seconds, it's really not too much a burden, but I am trying to arrange my playspace so that I do not need to fold and store after each play session because I'm pretty lazy and want to get many hours of use from this stand. If space is not an issue, you cannot got wrong with this stand.
I cannot fault my customer experience though :-)

After reviewing many other stands I had hoped to get the apex version as believed was sturdier - however settled for the classic as was in stock. So please with it however, is very sturdy (heavy enough)..minimal flex in it but not noticeable when playing (which is why was holding off for APEX) - however very pleased with it, excellent for money in design, quality and build. It adds so much more to playing and driving! Might extend with seat if future (space permitting) but stand very adjustable and comfortable even on a couch

This is my first sim set-up. I had seen various set-ups over the years, they looked nice but very expensive. Due to my lack of room to have a set-up, I searched for ideas. Many posts were mentioning the GT Omega stand. After working out the right set-up for my space, I would recommend this stand. I use it whilst sitting on my sofa and It works perfectly. It's a good quality build with various adjustments. I can't really fault it. An ideal starting point.
